Education Reform.

I found a link to this picture / blurb on reddit today:

Founder of a free school for slum children Rajesh Kumar Sharma, second from right, and Laxmi Chandra, right, write on black boards, painted on a building wall, at a free school run under a metro bridge in New Delhi, India. At least 30 children living in the nearby slums have been receiving free education from this school for the last three years.

It’s difficult to even conceive of what life must be like for those kids, and yet they are trying to change it, trying to get out. I look at this picture and feel a mix of sadness, empathy, and inspiration.  It makes the problems in my life, and the Education Reform movement in our own country, seem trivial in comparison.  How does it make you feel?
